Fr. Waltz believes with conviction that we are living in one of the most important moments in both Church history and world history. The challenges of our time are great, but so is the grace God is pouring out. The Awakening was born out of his conviction that God is raising up a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit, preparing the world for an Era of Peace – The Reign of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This site is not just a platform, but a movement—a call to unite hearts and minds under Christ at a decisive moment for humanity.
“We were born into this time together, we are living this life together, and we are going to be saved together. You can’t do this alone and you don’t have to do this alone. We are all God’s family.” – Fr. Justin Waltz

Father Justin Waltz was ordained to the priesthood on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 2008, a providential day that mirrors his lifelong devotion to the Eucharistic Heart of Christ. From the very beginning of his ministry, his passion has been to lead souls to Jesus—especially in the Blessed Sacrament—and to help others encounter the merciful and saving love of God in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Over the years, Fr. Waltz has served as chaplain, teacher, pastor, and military chaplain. He has led Catholic schools, guided parishes, and assisted the Bishop with development of Catholic education. But through it all, his mission has never changed: the salvation of souls. His academic background—spanning psychology, philosophy, theology, and education—equipped him with tools for leadership, yet he sees these only as means to a greater end: helping people find eternal life in Christ.

Today, along with his priestly ministry at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson, ND, and his service as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force, Fr. Waltz dedicates himself to building The Awakening: a mission to proclaim truth, inspire conversion, and prepare souls for what lies ahead.
