FR. justin waltz – founder of the awakening
Father Justin Waltz was ordained to the priesthood on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 2008, a providential day that mirrors his lifelong devotion to the Eucharistic Heart of Christ. From the very beginning of his ministry, his passion has been to lead souls to Jesus—especially in the Blessed Sacrament—and to help others encounter the merciful and saving love of God in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The Awakening is a Catholic movement of evangelization for those called by God. Born in a world of crisis, it exists to proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ, awaken souls to His merciful love in the Sacraments, and prepare hearts for the Era of Peace – The Reign of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
